Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Savsai collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it.
Who we are
Savsai is run by [Company legal name], a company registered in England and Wales (company number [number]), registered office [address]. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@savsai.com.
What we collect
When you ask for an estimate, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your property's postcode, property type and number of bedrooms
When you email us, we keep your email and anything you include in it.
Why we use it
We use these details to reply to you, prepare an estimate for your home and talk to you about our services. Our lawful basis is that you've asked us to do this before possibly entering into a contract with us, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and handle enquiries:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the estimate form
- [Email provider, e.g. Google Workspace], which runs our email
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site and receives your IP address when the page loads
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we manage your home and for six years afterwards, for accounting and legal reasons. If you don't, we delete your enquiry within 24 months.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics tracking.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@savsai.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
